My take on the first few picks in the NBA draft
Jabari Parker-Carmelo Anthony with more athleticism and a better head on this shoulders (at this point Jabari doesn't shoot as well as Carmelo, but compared to when he came out very similar in that regards)

Andrew Wiggins-Athletic Freak whose basketball skills are not there yet, looked lost at times at Kansas. Had 4 points, 4 rebounds and an assist in Kansas' loss to Stanford. Will be a good defender immediately, but offensively he isn't very good (compared to other top prospects)

Joel Embiid-Could be Hakeem Olajuwon or could be Greg Oden. Ceiling is high as he is very athletic with great footwork for such a big guy. Injury is a concern as couldn't make a college season without finishing with a bad back.

Julius Randle-To me this is the safest pick in the draft other than perhaps Parker. The guy is a load down low and will be a plus rebounder immediately. Good touch around the basket, although he could still get better with his footwork. If I had to guess he will end up being somewhere between Zach Randolph and Karl Malone.

Dante Exum-I will admit I haven't seen this kid play. Scout love him as he is a super athletic pg who is about 6'5". Apparently dominated at the U18 worlds.

Marcus Smart-I think the pro game suits his game better than college. NBA ready body. Good but not great shooter that can get to the rim. Can work on his passing. I think he will be able to score in the NBA better than most of the above guys.
