In the Keanu Nelson interview on Saturday he said it was his HS coach who told

him BYU had some one year openings. Based on this it is easy to assume that the BYU recruiters have put the word out among the HS coaching network that they were in the graduate transfer market.

Also, I don't think anyone is expecting any of these transfers to start, except maybe Leslie. They are just looking for experienced and athletic depth.
