If we could take the top players from the past decade and assemble them on this
years team, would we win the national champtionship this year or would we still not have enough talent? I think the team would look like this:

WR Cody Hoffman
WR Austin Collie
TE Dennis Pitta
OT Jake Kuresa
OG Ray Feinga
C Dallas Reynolds
OG Braden Hansen
OT Matt Reynolds
RB Jamaal Williams or Harvey Unga
QB John Beck
FB Manase Tonga

DE Jan Jorgenson
NG Romney Fuga
DE Ezekiel Ansah
WLB Kyle Van Noy
MLB Cameron Jensen
BLB Uona Kaveinga
SLB Brian Kehl
CB Jordan Johnson
CB Preston Hadley
FS Joe Samson
SS Daniel Sorenson

You could probably switch a few of these guys and I probably suffer from recency bias, but my question is still do you think if we assembled all the best players from the past 10 years, we could compete for the national championship.

I think we still wouldn't have the line to compete. We would have an excellent team, but we would still come up short against the big dogs.
