If the kids are over 8 have them do it themselves! We have two baskets for each
person, one white and one colored. When a basket is full they are to take it to the laundry and wash that load, then it is put back into that basket and they have to fold them.
As a sidenote, when they reached 12 they had to make dinner once a week.
