put up an insane amount of points per game. Running a successful pro-style offense wasn't good enough even if they could put up 28 to 35 points a game (which they couldn't). In order to compete with the rest of the Big12 they adopted the spread.
What was interesting watching the KU spring game, was that I saw a lot of the same errors we made last season--false starts, quick 3 and outs, WRs running wrong routes, etc. I think KU is going to have a rough first year running this offense.
