I can cope with the pain a lot better if I know that it can possibly go away.
I've done a lot of reading online and none of it has given me much hope.
THe pain can be caused by so many things that treating it involves a lot of guesswork.
For now, I refuse to stop playing basketball. I don't know how many years I have left and I don't want to waste them resting my knee.
I'll keep doing the doctor recommended exercises and plan to take a break from running and jumping when I'm in my 60s.
I believe that my condition will improve when I start to remember to stretch before jumping around. To this point, I've never done that. I'm stupid.
