The current version of the TL is one in which Acura toned down the front grill (the beak). The beak never bothered me and I actually appreciated that Acura went for a bold design. If you like it, don't let what others say about it's looks bother you. Also, I highly recommend the AWD version in order to avoid torque steer and to get the extra handling benefits of AWD. Finally, this is the last year of the TL (Acura combining the TSX and the TL to make the new TLX). So if you are interested in a new one you should be able to get a decent discount pointing out to the dealer this fact.
