A few days ago, someone mentioned Thanksgiving Point memberships technically NOT be tax deductible because you get a good or a service from the donation.

If this is the case, is my CC membership truly not tax deductible either? I receive parking, luncheons, etc from that donation, yet I deduct it all the same. Why is Thanksgiving Point different?
