However, if my timetable is correct, this is the order of occurences:
1. April 2011, Taysom Hill announces he will play for BYU after his mission
2. September 2011, Heaps struggles
3. December 2011, Hill returns from his mission December 16 and a week later, after the bowl game, Heaps announces he will transfer
Hill announced he would transfer to BYU long before Heaps announced he would leave BYU.
