Riley was rallying the team in 2011 after Heaps dismal start
You don't bench the guy who had the support of the team and minus the tcu game was winning. As it turns out, I believe Heaps did start against Idaho St or some bad team due to Riley ' s injury.
In 2012 after Riley broke his back, I believe Hill was the right choice, then he got injured so Lark.
