There are definitely some things we can read into
1. Most importantly, the coaches are not super comfortable with Daniel at safety yet. The fact that they list him at BCB, Trammell behind Johnson at FCB, and PoVey and Leavitt as co-#1 FS is very telling. Add to that the fact that they went and got Jackson, and I'm starting to think the most likely safety tandem to start this season is Bills at FS and Jackson at KAT.

2. The fact that Tuiloma is listed as the co-#1 NT and the co-#1 RE says that the coaches like where he is and don't like where Peoples is yet.

3. Separate listing of IR and TE means those positions are distinct and those players won't be competing directly with each other for reps.

4. Mathews and Kearsley are in the academic doghouse and will probably have to regain some trust. There is no reason to worry that they won't be on the two-deep for UConn, though - they are definitely in the top five OL as far as ability is concerned.

5. Alisa getting the #2 SLB spot even though he hasn't played it in almost six years shows the coaches have a ton of confidence that he'll step back in and play well.
