Here's dad, #18 front row, as captain of the American All-Stars that toured Australia. The won a couple of games, but for the most part they were pounded. At the end of the tour though, they had gained the respect of the Australians and their opponents. They were made fun of for wearing long pants and bright colors with stars on their shoulders. After a couple of games, they got rid of the football style pants and just wore shorts. The guy in the middle, #27, was the promoter of this tour and a bit of a huckster. He was in it for the money and girls, and was basically run out of Australia for not paying his debts.
