When multiple switches can control the same light, I must play a logic game to make sure that when the light is off, all light switches will face the same direction. On a two or three panel of switches, all switches on that panel must face the same direction. Where there are only two switches that control one light, I had to take out the light switch from the wall, and turn it around, so that when off, there wasn't one switch up and one switch down. They both faced the same direction.
