Wonder why he's not close to the program that brought him fame
...even if for only a short time?
I wonder if it is the fans that have/do alienate some of the former players, great and not so great. If a former player wants to stay close to the fans, and have the pulse of the Cougars...and if they were to read this board....it would probably alienate many of them.
I shudder (and always have) when people use "SGC" from the get go. So disrespectful of one of our own greats...not just a player, one of our 'greats'. "SGC" should be reserved for some Utah player, or something...but not one of our own. If I was Staley, I'd tell our fans to go jump in a lake too....if this board is any indication of the respect he gets. Sorry...pet peave of mine.
