duties reluctantly (if I recall correctly) I don't think he necessarily wanted to but felt like he had to. It seems to me, that Howell and Bronco are ONE. They pretty much have the same purpose, the same personality, and would call the same call in the same circumstances. He basically is a younger Bronco. IMO, he would call almost all the same calls in the game Bronco would. (a lot of this stuff is prepared pre-game as well) and if it comes to a situation where Howell would call something different than Bronco, and experience taught Bronco that this is wrong way to go, I bet Bronco will overrule.
