The plays he's best at are
when both Hill and he are rolling out. They threw to him a few times last year on that play. Williams would get about 8-15 yards every time.
I know the option gets counted as a run instead of a pass, but Hill is still "passing" the ball so it helps Williams practice catching it on the run. It went for a TD on the first drive against Houston. It went for good yardage against Texas, Boise, etc, etc. And they did a really good job of it in 2012. Williams scored from about 15 yards out against SJSU I think.

I just think more plays like that with Hill closer to Williams and still throwing it to him will help Williams work on his eye-hand coordination on the run.
That and heck, bring back the shovel pass. There's a reason he had 300+ yards receiving as a freshman. Get creative Anae. Do what you can to get the ball to him in space. From the sound of it, Anae is on board with most of this. Not necessarily passing, but pushing Williams to have a 1500 yd season.
