Anyone else have any really odd in-laws try and control them?
First of all, by BIL is about as odd as you can get. Outside of naming his kids BoM prophet names, his daughter a name you might imagine in a fairytale or the fact that they use to limit the kids to only eating homegrown food or the fact that their 26 yo daughter and 20 yo son and wife still talk to everyone in baby talk.

Visiting few days on family reunion. He turns off the Internet (he has no kids at home) and doesn't admit to turning it off.

I ask him if he can turn it on last night (my 18 yo daughter would like to use it and has NO her age here and has been away from any friends for a week and had been very good on this trip). I think he forget I have LTE so thinks he is controlling me too. He turns it on for a few hrs.

Tis AM he tells my wife first thing that his Internet connection "usually doesn't work on weekends" and that it is not working. My wife try's to give him benefit of doubt better than any other sibling. She is pissed!!!

He must forget that we are not his 5 year old kids. I devices show like 4 of his neighbors that have Internet that shows it is working fine and that we know better than to just think Internet just happens to go out on weekends (and just so happens was out yesterday).

So instead of hanging around their house all day waiting for dinner my wife says, "let's get out of here until dinner". So now we get to hang out and waste time Nd shop in south SLC are until we have to go to dinner and they head to her parents house.

People can be so stupid sometimes. He pulls crap like this all the time and is why no one likes him.
