funny...you might not believe this...
but i was actually in downtown anchorage when the earthquake that park is in remembrance of, hit...
our whole family was in the 1959 ford fairlane, stopped at a stop light...my dad was stationed at elmendorf at the time.
when the car pitched, my mom at first said, "oh, we've got a flat tire!"
