If BYU and say Air Force were to join the AAC and then Army decides to join the party, that would make a pretty good conference and one that would involve Washington in terms of being included to a seat at the table if needed. I like the mach-ups and the markets. That would be a nice conference. Two Florida schools, two Texas schools and 3 academies make for great recruiting and game locations. But it brings more eyes to the sets. And to have big brother in your corner.....to me that is threat enough for the big 12 to be pressured by other leagues to extend an invite and quickly. That is probably the last thing the big 5 wants to see. A BYU invite squashes it. Both would be good but i think it would be a definite game changer if the AAC and BYU explore it. Just a thought though
