You know, you'd think the P12, ACC, B10, and even the SEC would be ticked if
this were allowed to happen. Every last one of those leagues at one time requested permission to hold a CCG without needing to expand to 12 teams. All of them were turned down.

The SEC was the first to try, way back in the early '90's. Until very recently, Arkansas and South Carolina weren't exactly cash cows for the SEC.

Now, the B10 eventually invited Nebraska after holding out way too long for ND, so it worked out well for them, but they still missed the money they could have gotten from over a decade's worth of CCG's.

The ACC reluctantly invited Miami, VT and BC just to host a CCG. The basketball driven North Carolina schools were not happy.

The P12 resigned itself to inviting Colorado and Utah just to have a CCG. You'd think they'd be the most ticked if the B12 gets it's way.

You'd think those four leagues, after doing what they had to do to comply with the rule, would tell the B12 to pound sand and expand. They instead seem to support the B12 in this latest quest to circumvent the rule.
