I went to both games and completely agree
As I walked into the AZ stadium, a group of students were poking their fingers in the chest of a BYU fan carrying a small child and trying to pick a fight. We were yelled at by at least a half dozen students while simply walking down the street. The other guy I was with was probably a little too big for people to try and pick a fight with.
Contrast that to OU fans who, as we walked back to the car after the game, would come up and shake our hands one after another. I even saw a little girl (8-9 yrs oldish) bawling because of the loss and staring at us. Her mom says in a stern voice, "You get over there and shake their hands right now!" and comes over sobbing saying, "Good game! "
But to be fair to the AZ fans, it was mostly the students who were the problem
