Care to clarify? What I think you mean is that Crowton
was undefeated in the first game of the season. While true, I don't think that is was counts as a fast start.
Bronco won the season opener for 6 seasons in a row. That is the longest streak in BYU history over the last 40 years.
We are talking about overall performance over the first month of the season.
Except for 2001, Crowton was 2-2 to start the season in 2002 and 2003, and 1-3 in 2004. Not a good track record for "fast starts"
