I have a question about that
Yes, Jimmer can hit threes, no argument there. And he would put butts in seats and sell jerseys and no question that he has the possibility of helping the Jazz win a few more games this year. But today's trade shows that the Jazz are still in asset building mode and that next year's focus will be on player development, not wins and losses and contending for a playoff seed.

So what would the reaction be if the Jazz had signed Jimmer and he was relegated to the bench because Snyder wants to play the younger, developing players ahead of him? Who's minutes would be decreased with Fredette on the Jazz? Exum? Burke or Burks? Heywood? Plus what happens when the Jazz go on a losing streak - which no doubt they will - and Jimmer is a DNP?

Jimmer Fredette definitely fits in this league as a specialist or a 12th man on some NBA teams. I just don't see where Jimmer fits with the Jazz. I think the local loyalty to him would just put everyone in a bad position.
