In a year when we MUST make a splash (at least according to most on here because of possible Big12 expansion) you would just give away a perfect season (it will likely take us going 12-0 to get to a BCS game)?

I'm not saying this would get us into the Big12, but what if it did? It certainly would strengthen our case to beat Texas again and go undefeated.

You would also give away Utah going 3-9 (that's the record it will take to get KW fired this year)? That means ZERO PAC12 wins this year! How amazing would that be???

So we would replace BM with KW - not the BEST choice but certainly not horrible. Which decent LDS coaches are begging to coach at BYU. I know we all want Sitaki but who knows how he would be as a head coach? And who knows if he would ever WANT to coach at BYU. Getting KW would not be a bad option - in fact he's one of the best AVAILABLE options (in this scenario).

Oh yeah, we would also be taking the man away from our rivals that has OWNED us and bringing him home. Most BYU fans would accept/support him as soon as he took the field. If Cleveland can forgive why can't all the Mormons in Provo?

How great would this slap in the face be to Utah? Their program is left in shambles. We take away their golden boy. We get our first undefeated season in 30 years.

Remind me again why all of this is bad???
