Be wary of Cordell and Cordell. They are basically a national chain that hires
local lawyers. Their philosophy is great but it really depends on the lawyers that are in the office. I interviewed one here and found that she was brand new to the area and had only been to court in my state a handful of times. She also didn't have a paralegal so everything that got billed was going to be at the lawyer's rate. From what I understand, most cases are settled at some point so the relationships that divorce lawyers have with other lawyers and judges are often key to getting things done. Get recommendations then interview the attorneys and then go with the one that you feel most comfortable with.
