I know the purpose of your post is not to engage in a discussion about the merit
of your idea, but I can't help but think there are not enough sellers out there that would prefer to leave the choice of their agent up to an internet outfit that would refer them someone merely because they use a product that I don't see sellers clamoring for.

Let's face it, finding a recommendation for an agent is not difficult, most everybody has a friend of a friend that sells real estate. They may be good, they may be bad, but there's more chance of them being good if they're a referral from a friend. I can't see someone saying "this idea I found on the internet is fantastic, let's ask them to refer us an agent in our area that uses this great idea". I'm more apt to think that a seller would say "this idea I found on the internet is fantastic, I'm going to make a point to the agent I choose that I want to know of all offers the second they arrive".

Again, I don't mean to thread crap, I'm just perplexed as to how this will work. As for referrals in general, those that I have received cold from people seeing my listings on Zillow, Trulia, Redfin and the like have almost always turned into nothing. I focus solely on referrals from past clients and my circle of friends, those warm referrals pay off more times than not.
