Or are you saying that just to make you feel better about BYU going to the Miami Bowl regardless of record. I can see why you are telling yourself that because it'll really upset you to see Utah St go to the Fiesta Bowl while BYU goes to the Miami Bowl, especially if you beat Utah St.
