I understand the pathology of a certain segment of fans - guys like Jhonny Chimpo who come over her and defend the Utes whenever someone makes any comment about them. I think it's dumb, but at least I "get it". They are "defending their team's honor".

MAU is a whole different animal. He seemingly spends all his free time scouring the inter webs for any mention of BYU, then he launches in with the worst possible stereo-typical Yewt-anti routine imaginable. The Povey tweet is par for the course - BYU guy post picture of himself fishing, and he just has to get in and make some stupid comment. He is the Yewt that all the ALUF's want to pretend doesn't exist.

Obviously hyperbole about running the dude over, but he really is everything that is wrong with the rivalry.
