whether something is going on there at the time or not. I think it gives the illusion that they are on top of it when in reality, most of the time, they aren't. Journalism in most forms is dead. They are suppose to be there to keep a check on government but most of the time, particularly here in Portland, we hear about the dog that was lost and back safely.
