Some have suggested that BYU doesn't really matter much to Norm Chow. I disagree. I think BYU rents space in his head non-stop.
Exhibit 1:
This week's questions about BYU (in context of what Norm did to bring the passing game into the modern era). His answers were dismissive of BYU and praising another (ANY) opponent more.
Exhibit 2:

BYU blows out UH 47-0. Norm petulantly insists he isn't impressed. He's still harboring a grudge after his debut at UCLA when BYU waxed them 59-0. For those of you keeping count, that's 106-0 in total points that BYU laid on his squads.
Exhibit 3:

Michael Wadsworth. Kid wants to transfer to BYU. Norm won't release him from his scholly unless he transfers to "anywhere by BYU" while claiming BYU has an unfair advantage in recruiting RM's. Even though BYU didn't recruit Wadsworth while he was on his mission. Bitter much?
