Maybe it was mentioned, but Chow was interviewed by the Boise St. Media yesterday. Their interview talked about BYU quite a bit. Chow didn't seem to want much to do with it. He basically changed the subject when they tried to discuss the impact Chow and the Cougs had on the evolution of the passing game because of what BYU accomplished. Chow went on to say that BYU "did it for one year" when 1984 was brought up but that Boise St. was more impressive in that they kept "doing it." My thought was that BYU
was pretty darn relevant from 80-85, but whatever Norm.
He did identify Jim McMahon when asked to ID a favorite QB--he apologized to Rivers and Carson Palmer but talked about McMahon's unmatched competitive streak.
Overall, he didn't come across as a guy who wanted to talk BYU at all but wasn't the bitter antagonist some portray him to be. None of that really says much about what he really feels, but it was interesting how BYU centric his interview questions, and at least one answer, were
