Just bought the lg g3, coming from s3.
The things I didn't like about the s3 mainly had to do with Verizon and messing up the s3 - so I didn't want to have the same experience with the s5. The g3 looks better.
If battery life concerns you (more than 3/4 a day) then you probably want to go s5.
