I just have my doubts because two of the biggest differences between NFL and college corners is their size (usually bigger in the NFL, although not always) and ability to play physical off the line of scrimmage. Hoffman had much more of an advantage in those areas in college than he will in the NFL, and without blazing speed to keep corners honest they'll be free to go toe-to-toe physically with him off the snap. I really hope he's able to make a good go of it.

I guess I'm not saying anything surprising here – just that everyone is bigger, faster, and better in the NFL and without decent top end speed to keep corners honest I'm not sure Hoffman is strong enough in other categories to outweigh that deficiency. Time will tell
