Public Transportation from Dodger Stadium

We're planning a trip to Disneyland and I want to hit a Dodgers game with my son. The rest of the family will be in Anaheim after they drop us off. Is it easy/safe to take buses/metro from the stadium to Disneyland? Has anyone done this before?

from anaheim, there isnt an easy route of public transportation.

You could take Amtrak from Anaheim to LA, and there is a shuttle to the stadium
