From what I hear it's technically binding, but I honestly don't know about then going to someone else. Seems like a lock would benefit the borrower much more than the lender if the borrower can keep getting locks from other lenders when/if the rate goes down.

Or do you think that it won't end up being binding because the negotiations were based on bad info?
