We still pitch a 10 man tent every year and go camping and fishing for a couple of weeks. To tell the truth, never had any problems. Well...maybe the 1 year old would be left in a cabin with his mom.

Set up tent and all of their beds while it is still light, have a campfire until it starts getting dark...put them in their beds with a personal flashlight or glow stick and tell them stories until the fall asleep.

Wake them up in the morning.
