This is a weak, weak, weak response -
use of the word "stupid" as a description is especially lame. I attended the Utah/BSU game in the Las Vegas Bowl in BYU gear. Got a few jeers here and there from Yewt fans, but no big deal. However, I do recall posting about it on CB and getting piled on by people who, like you, proclaimed that my wearing of BYU gear at a non-BYU game was stupid and childish. I find that kind of a response from a BYU fan board to be amazing. I was quite surprised by that.

It's a family reunion. His family supports BYU. He wants to have some fun with it. What's the big deal? I don't think that's stupid. Want to teach your children to let their light shine and not be ashamed of who they are and what they believe/support? Good little object lesson, perhaps. Regardless, wearing BYU gear at a family function on the Yew campus is not worthy of an attack. OU Cougar is merely giving his kids experiences that will further solidify their commitment to BYU. What could be so wrong with that?
