Vai is the one who created this firestorm and he should not have. In the end Kyle did the right thing and is saying the kid should get to choose where he wants to play ball. When Vai approached Kyle, Kyle was both surprised and unprepared and I think it was more of an ex teamate calling him, who often plays a role as a leader in the Tongan LDS community, and then Vai uses the comments as a reporter.
