Obviously the high ranking doesn't always mean much. And if a guy is injured most of his career, no ranking about him matters.
I'm just saying it's not the fault of those running the offense that these highly ranked players haven't done jack.
If ANY of them were really that great, the last few years was the time to get on the field and I don't recall any one of them being good enough to demand being the outright starter for 2 years in a row. Two of them were cut loose. I guess our TEs who HAVE stood out have showed us that it doesn't matter about the ranking. You just need to get here, step it up, and work your butt off.
I think there's a lot of hope for the two big guys we've got and moving them to defense where we've recruited like crazy lately won't create much of a benefit for the team. We need them at TE.
