If you did that same thing watching almost any series
you'd never finish a thing. I don't think I've seen a series yet that hasn't slowed down at some point and maybe even had some more boring parts. BB does it. Prison Break has a season. 24 has one really boring season. Arguably more. etc.
Ditch that logic and hang in there!!! But if you're not hooked, you're not going to care later. You'll probably finish and say "Eh, it was an ok series."
