If it didn't show anything within a couple minutes
She should take another. If she just immediately threw it away, you have no idea if the "pregnant" result showed up within the recommended 5 minutes or so, or hours later. At that point, you can't rely on what it says. She should take another tomorrow morning, and make sure a result shows up.
