Trammell was injured day 1 of spring, so that would have been fairly dumb to have been excited over the summer for him to help make our secondary great.

The talk I remember was of thinking Sam Lee seemed too small to play boundary, but Daniel was maybe more of a safety than a corner. Then JJ went down in fall camp and the CB meltdown consisted of simply hoping every team didn't throw for 400+ against us.

So, no, I don't remember being "very excited" last year about the secondary. I am excited for the potential this year, though, and yes, other CBers might have brought it up once or twice as well this off season.
