Is directing the next Jurassic park movie. He had directed one independent film that did relatively well and got good reviews, but is pretty much only known to people who are really into film.

The next gig he gets is a sequel in a big budget franchise. I don't get it. But it is definitely the trend now days and has been successful in the past.
