I once defended 1280 and some lame CBer kept accusing me of working there. He was certain I was lying when I said I didn't nor have I ever worked there. DJ and PK have been the highest rated morning show in Utah for more than a decade. There was a reason 1320 waited 2 years to launch a morning show. They knew that if they did it from the beginning, it would be dead on arrival. I don't live in Utah anymore so I'm not up to speed on all the latest, but 1320 obviously felt they couldn't do a morning show with home grown talent. They brought in an outsider and gave it to him.

Some people hate PK and think that he somehow put words in the mouths of BYU players and coaches when they've said dumb things. All he did was ask questions. They are the ones that responded with silly remarks. Some people don't like his schtick, but I think it's funny. It's a little like Colbert, only he plays both sides of the fence. Some people are dumb enough to still think that he favors one side over the other.

Of course, my favorite team is the Jazz. Those guys have always had the best Jazz coverage. I remember listening to Jan Jorgensen and Gunther try to break down the Jazz. It was the dumbest commentary I'd ever heard on NBA basketball. I don't care to listen to former college football players pretend to know NBA basketball.
