it was implemented too quickly without the vision like BYUtv. Concept from thought to finish was to get a jump before the SEC announced their own network, however, TX with ESPN thought they could do that much easier...Wrong on all counts.

BYUtv SHOWED TX and the B12 (ESPN knows this extremely well) how to run things from a production POV. ESPN wanted something quick and easy. Well, quick and easy isn't sustainable for the long haul. BYUtv is though, VERY VERY much.

TX is around the fact that they KNOW BYUtv brings a solid tier three line up (not going to compete with tier two Fox sports). BYUtv doesn't have to do that...They can do other things to B12 teams that NO OTHER school and even LHN can do. That is the rub. If anything, TX would come to BYU and say, okay, we screwed up....We want tier three distribution, willing to pay X for it...
