However, it is still ambiguous and there are some people who use it because the comment is actually funny even as others mock. If the ambiguity were destroyed and it were easy to place a mocking laugh, I think it would be used more and would destroy legitimate discourse since it would be a lot easier to simply use a mocking laugh and continue on. Also, people could be recruited to give their mocking laugh. It's just not a good idea.
