I heard so many BYU fans on this board gloating that 1280 was dead wrong, that there would be no suspensions, and that 1280 personalities were idiots for even suggesting as much. What's worse, I have been incredibly embarrassed listening to BYU fans call in and text 1280 ripping them a new one for reporting this story and the Uani Unga tweet story. THEY ARE A SPORTS RADIO STATION! IT IS THEIR JOB!!

Moreover, they never "confirmed" or stated as gospel that the suspensions would occur. But if they had reliable sources tell them--which they obviously did if suspensions are coming down shortly--then they would be idiots not to report it. It is what any news/sports station would do if given inside information.

And as far as the Uani Unga tweet, what did people expect? That 1280 and 1320 not mention it? Why are so many BYU fans getting so angry about this? I would have expected the stations to report the same information if it involved the U or Utah State. Why do so many of our fans need to be such whiny little girls???

Drop the victim complex, Cougar Fans. I am a HUGE BYU fan, but this type of behavior is embarrassing. 1280 is vindicated.
