picturesque town on the coast, and it's never as crowded as Lincoln City or Cannon Beach.

If you want to get away from the crowds, go to Ecola State Park and do the 1 mile hike to Crescent Beach. Because it actually requires some physical effort to get there, we literally had the entire beach to ourselves until early evening when low tide allowed people to hike around the headland from Cannon Beach. It was one of the best days of my entire life.
