There's nothing any DB can do on that route if Apo runs it like that and the
ball is placed exactly where it was. The hesitation is part of the route. Apo knows where the ball is going, JJ does not. Apo hesitates, JJ doesn't know if Apo will cut out, cut in, cut back, drag across, run a post, or head to the corner. All he can do is guess and hope to stay with him.
