Last night me and my two boys we staking out the #byu50 boxes and, on a whim, guesses that the last one would be at Fat Cats. We were pulling into the parking lot just as the location was announced and my 13 year old jumped out of the car and ran in. He was the 2nd or 3rd person there, but, as can happen with kids, he was overlooked and credit was given to a couple of people after him. When I parked and came in, he was in tears and told me what happened. David Almodova saw what had happened and added my son as the 5th person for the bowling competition.

What a exciting end to our night of trying to tracking down boxes! It could have ended in hurt feelings for my son, and there would have been lessons to be learned from that as well, but thanks to Almodova, he got to compete for the box. (Congrats to the Adam Maughan who ran away with the bowling competition from the very first frame!)

Thanks again to Mr. Almodova and the entire BYU promotional staff for a great event and for taking into consideration the feelings of my 13 year old BYU fan! The outcome of the night was a great experience for my two boys with my 7 year old being excited for football season, which he has never had much interest in before.

P.S. If you were that guy in Orem that we starting following around town because we thought you were the BYU box guy, sorry for freaking you out!
